Rubber Chicken Studio has an aversion to following the herd and doing what we are told to do.

Instead we are drawn to overlooked places, unanswered questions, forgotten histories and investigations into the quieter absurdities of everyday life.

Our Collections mainly celebrate colour and visual storytelling. Some will examine conflict, collective memory and landscapes.

There will also be photography. Probably lots of photography and, in the true Rubber Chicken way, it won't be the usual being photographed.

The studio really exists to question assumptions, celebrate independent thought and not be restricted by the usual design conventions or a need to fit in.

I'm Andy. I started Rubber Chicken because I got tired of everything looking the same, everyone wearing the same and seemingly not being able to think for themselves. There are only so many minimalist logos, motivational slogans, lazy copying and high energy in your face promotions a person can take.

This is the alternative. Independent, UK-based, thoughtful, quiet, observant and genuinely trying to make things worth wearing or putting on your walls that actually say something about your inner self. Grey trackie bottoms, matching hoodie and 'Live, Laugh, Love' don't cut the mustard anymore.

Everything is printed to order by our global production partners, so as near to you as possible and is typically dispatched within 3–5 days.
