About the Studio

Rubber Chicken Studio has a mild distrust of certainty and authority.

We are drawn to overlooked places, inconvenient questions, forgotten histories and the quieter absurdities of everyday life. Some collections celebrate colour and visual storytelling. Others examine tourism, conflict, folklore, authority and collective behaviour.

The common thread is curiosity. We believe familiar things become more interesting when viewed from an unexpected angle.

The studio exists to question assumptions, celebrate independent thought and occasionally poke established ideas with a stick to see what happens.

New work is released in small collections alongside occasional guest designers and collaborative projects.
