One of three in a series of blue and white patterns.
This is the famous Willow Pattern, designed and engraved by Minton in England around 1780. Commissioned to capitalise on the huge demand for Chinese blue and white patterns that were being imported at the time.
Here the pattern is rendered in a modern context and has a reference to appropriating military patterns/uniform cues in fashion design - our design goes in the other direction though.
